Holy Maternity Clothes!!!
So I am 16 weeks and finally broke down and went maternity clothes shopping. My hips and booty decided to expand a bit with my belly so nothing but leggings fit comfortably. I need clothes for work and for regular wear...but tried to get clothes that I could wear for both. I went to destination maternity and gap....and spent....
$400! Thank God mom was nice and bought half for me. lol.
How much did you or do people usually spend on maternity clothes? I feel like I spent a lot. But hopefully this will last me well into the fall and early winter. I think all I need to get later on (depending how big I get) is some sweaters and a coat.

Holy Maternity Clothes!!!
I prob spent around $300-$400 but I'm not working and mostly needed summer maternity clothes so I just bought a ton of tank tops and a couple pairs of jeans and some shorts, throw in a couple maternity dresses and I was set for the whole summer

Destination Maternity wasn't as expensive as I thought thankfully..but some stuff was really over the top.
I feel like you have to buy so much more stuff to get through the fall and winter months.

Re: Holy Maternity Clothes!!!
My regular clothes are starting to slowly be uncomfortable so I have spent about $600 so far. I still need some pants for work though... I'll probably just get one or two pairs, rotate them with the dresses I bought and be done with it. The majority of what I bought are tops and dresses. I got a few pairs of leggings and a bunch of flats since there is no way I'll be even attempting heels at work... but I don't count the shoes towards the clothing total
Check out Old Navy too. I've done all of my shopping online at Old Navy, Gap and Motherhood Maternity. There are a pair of pants I want from Pea in the Pod and then I think I'll be done.
Gap and Old Navy have 25-30% off sales going on right now!

Holy Maternity Clothes!!!
Honestly not much. I bought like 3 knit maxi dresses (non-maternity) that I've been wearing all summer, and 2 capris from old navy. I will buy like 2 pairs of pants for winter and maybe a few layering tanks to wear under cardigans. I really hate the maternity pants I find them so uncomfortable and I have no rearend so they slide right off me...
Eta I spent $100 on the 3 dresses and about $50 on the pants

I've probably spent about $600 so far but that's all for fall/winter clothes. I'll probably need some more shirts and maybe 1 more pair of pants.
I need business casual as well as nice casual (jeans/nice shirt) for work, a few dresses for holidays and then weekend stuff.

Re: Holy Maternity Clothes!!!
so far i spent about $150 - im only 15 weeks though. There was a ton more that i liked when i went to destination maternity, but i decided to control myself since i can still fit into my normal clothing and stuff wasnt on sale i figure no rush. my next shopping trip there will probably cost me about $400 and i hope that gets me through most of the pregnancy.

Re: Holy Maternity Clothes!!!
A majority of my maternity clothes came from Kohls - I waited ntil I had a 30% off coupon. I also got a lot from my sister who was PG with me, she gave me what didn't fit her anymore. I did get a coat from Kohls too. I don't remember how much it was originally but I ended up getting it for 60% off plus another 15% with a coupon. Good luck! I hate that the maternity clothes are so expensive.

Holy Maternity Clothes!!!
maternity clothes are more expensive, i'm used to getting all of mywork pants from NY & Co during their city cash or BOGO sales and i get like $100 worth of clothes for $50. I went to Motherhood over the weekend to pick up some pants for work for the fall, because i am sure that as soon as the cooler weather hits, i won't fit into my regular pants anymore. I got two corduroys, and ap air of pants in black, grey and khaki which will take me through straight through the winter and hopefully the end of my pregnancy. i didn't buy any shirts because i'm hoping that once i switchout my summer to fall/winter shirts ( i like to layer a lot) some of my tanks will still fit or stretch out with my belly and i can just throw a caridgan over it. Over the weekend, on the pants I spent about $150, most of them were on sale. I want to check out the Motherhood Maternity Outlet in Brooklyn I just found out about!

Holy Maternity Clothes!!!
I had some clothes from my first pregnancy, but I needed to buy a whole new set of clothes because I was pregnant at different seasons. I have so many maternity clothes now. I think I spent around $600 this pregnancy because I had to essentially buy all new clothes.

So far $250. Got 3 dresses, cardigan, leggins and shirt from the Gap when they had 30% off. Also got 1 dress, 1 skirt and pair of jeans at ASOS.
I still need to get some tops and working clothes.

Re: Holy Maternity Clothes!!!
Last pregnancy not alot maybe $250. I borrowed alot of stuff from my sister and I was on bedrest for alot of my pregnancy so I didn't need alot.
This pregnancy will be a different story. When I was giving my sister her clothes back, I put 2 garbage bags by the front door and my dad was helping out and took out the "garbage". I had no idea and realized it days later after the garbage was gone
So now we both don't have much! She is ttc now so I feel I owe her some clothes plus I have pretty much nothing!
I am only 10 weeks and I know my work pants will not fit me when I go back in sept. So I just bought a pair of pants at target and a few short sleeve shirts.
FYI target copaigue had 30% or 50% off alot of their summer maternity if anyone needs anything. t shirts, capris, etc

Re: Holy Maternity Clothes!!!
Not a lot. I'm 19 weeks and am trying to make my pre-pregnancy clothes work still (wearing the belly band).
I bought 1 pair of maternity pants for work (that i wear twice in the week); and i have 1 pair of beige slacks that are loose fitting that I wear with the belly band. My sister gave me a pair of maternity Jeans; and 2 t-shirts which I wear on the weekend. Other than that I have 2 maternity tops i bought from old navy (under $20 for the two). So in all maybe $50 so far. Trying to hold out as long as I can. My friend just gave me a bag of her maternity clothes. I have to go through it and see what fits. I might just go buy 1 more pair of work pants; a pair of jeans; and some tops. I don't plan on spending anymore than $100 on those additional items.

Re: Holy Maternity Clothes!!!
$0. I can't justify spending that much money on them. I've been wearing looser tops, leggings, etc. until week 30 i was using the bella band but now im wearing a few pairs of maternity pants that my sister gave me.
