Thank you all. I'm so looking forward to not have to 'SIGN ON' to say good night to my husband. The greatest and hardest part is that for anyone who has ever used SKYPE, when you make a computer to computer webcam call, it makes a specific ring. When he calls, our DD knows that ring and crawls right over to the computer! I can honestly say that I don't want to hear that sound for a VERY long time!
And to those of you who thanked US for our service... believe me, everyone says ' I could never do it'. I never thought I could either. HE is the reason I do it. (i'm getting emotional now lol). Never in my life did I think I would find someone who would put himself in harms way for me and our daughter.
I have an amazing family who has supported us every step of the way. Living OOS with an infant by yourself is not easy, but with people like DOTTIEMCHUGH and of course my parents always there to answer the phone, it makes everyday just a little bit easier.
I'll update as I know more. I'm hoping he will be in KS, where we live, no later than Saturday evening.

That is amazing and brought tears to my eyes. I am so so so happy for you. I think a friend of mine may actually be on her way back with the same folks as your DH.
Really? Do you know where she is stationed out of? Is she Army?

OMG CONGRATS!!!!!!! MY DH just came home from Afghanistan in January so trust me it will be the best moment of your life when he is in bed next to you and DC again. Thank your husband for all he does to keep us safe. And thank you for being the support from home.

Congrats on the homecoming!!!! That's great news. DH was in Iraq in 2005-2006 right before we got married. We actually had to postpone our wedding because he was stop/loss.
