Home Doppler Fetal Heart monitor
I was wondering if anyone has purchased a Doppler Fetal heart monitor to use at home to listen to the sounds of your littles ones heartbeat, etc.? My daughter is pregnant and I have been considering buying one for her. Any feedback? What type, price, where purchased? Are you satisfied? Thanks!

Re: Home Doppler Fetal Heart monitor
DH bought ours off of Ebay. It's the Hi Bebe BT-200. It has an LCD display. Lightweight.
Works really well. I can't remember exactly what DH paid for it, somewhere between 50-75 bucks.
We love it. Still use it from time to time but not as much as we did in the beginning. IMHO I think its a great thing to buy but can cause some worry if you can't find the heartbeat right away. I know for me when I couldn't find it I would stress about it. There was nothing wrong with baby boy at all but I still worried.
In the earlier weeks its a bit hard to detect the heartbeat.

I didn't buy...I rented from heartbeatsathome.com. I think it was $20 per month for 6 months (the monthly price was a little higher if you want to rent it for less time). I love it...the sound is high quality, no static or anything. Totally worth it IMO.
