Home from Labor & Delivery
Hey Everyone! Thanks for all the well wishes!! i was never in labor but after my appt today my doctor sent me to the hospital to check for preeclampsia! My blood pressure has been high my past 3 visits, I've had protein in my urine my last 2 visits, and I'm swollen! All of those combined had him concerned so he told me I had to go to the hospital to have blood taken and my blood pressure monitored! i was in shock to hear that depending on the lab results would determine if i was going to be a mommy tonight! Luckily all the lab work came back good and they sent me home!!
It was a good trial run and everyone at St. Charles was GREAT!! It was also really cute when Brian arrived at the hospital...he was all teary eyed and emotional!! i never thought he'd be that way!
Also a baby was born while we were there and the lullaby chimes went off! Of course that brought tears to my eyes and shockingly to Brians too!!
I'm even more excited now for the arrival of Baby P! It made me realize that it truly can be anyday now!!

I am glad to hear that everything is ok and that you had a good experience at St. Charles. You are right though Baby P will be here any day now!

Thanks Guys!! i gotta tell ya- this experience was such a rush!! But I'm, glad it worked out the way it did- the longer Baby P bakes the better

Its so exciting to hear the chimes go off and the entire nursing station started clapping and cheering!! Def exciting and emotional!!
