Homeland!!
Did anyone watch?
What did you think?
I LOVED it!
I love the Berlin setting. I love all of the connections they have made to reality. I can't wait to learn more about the new characters. Quinn is just... .

Homeland!!
I love how Carrie is now a dedicated mom. I hope her & Quinn start a steamy romance. I am confused with what is going on with her BF and that news reporter. I think the season started off great!

I did!!! DH and I love homeland! I agree with you both! Loved that they are using current events for this season, and glad they finally made her a good mom! Can't wait for next weeks!

DH loved the first episode. I liked it but not as much. I'm kind of tired of her getting kidnapped all the time! Sounds silly I guess, but I was like come on, this again? lol

Anyone still watching? I can't believe Carrie called the Russian spy! I'm guessing Carrie will figure things out before the meeting, though.

I am! I am kind of confused about the guy in Amsterdam (whose house she broke into) and the Russians (I think that's who they were) who also went into his apartment. But otherwise it's so good. I love Saul!

I don't understand the link with the Amsterdam guy either. The Russian spy lady made it seem like Carrie would easily figure out she was involved, but clearly not if Carrie asked for her help.

I thought it came out of nowhere for Carrie's boss to tell the boyfriend that she's unstable and he's not going to renew her contract. If he finds her unstable, why is he helping her so much? I thought he was going to hit on her when they were in the church.

I don't think anyone is clear yet.
We know that the Amsterdam guy was supposed to be dead, and the Iraqi guy (asset?) she called had been trying to reach her to tell her he's not dead.
So the Russians don't want Carrie to get to Amsterdam guy.
I wish I could get a look at those documents again, just for a few seconds.
I am curious about the guy she spoke on the phone with because the wife really, really did not want him to be bothered with the phone call. So I wonder what he was into back in the day.
I feel like I need to watch parts of this episode again, which won't happen because I barely have time to watch it once.
But there better be some bigger play going on here because there are a few things I find hard to believe.
Dar jumped to a VERY quick conclusion a few episodes ago that Saul was working with the Israelis. Concluding that based off of one meeting was absurd.
It's also a stretch that Saul cannot read Alison, especially last night. Her reaction in the bathroom was not what he should have expected if he is taking her at face value.
Also, why is Carrie trusting Alison? If Alison worked with her in Baghdad, Carrie shouldn't be trusting her - there was most likely a leak there.
And Saul handing the documents to Otto?
I have a problem with a lot of this.
Oh and I want Quinn to come and recover at MY house.

Honestly it's starting to confuse the shitt out of me and make me feel very stupid.
I really miss the days of Brody. That storyline was much easier to follow.
It's getting way too convoluted

EXACTLY
having issues believing Dar was so quick to dismiss Saul as being un loyal based upon Allison's say so.
agree with most of the other issues you point out as well, including Quinn

I think so. I will be so upset if they kill him off. I love his character.
This season has been really awesome.
