Honest opinions on my hair please!! UPDATED: I DID IT!!!
I'm bored and antsy and want to do something drastic with my hair. I've had blonde highlights for awhile now, and now I think I want to go to the other end of the spectrum and do something dark. I also want to gradually grow out my Japanese Hair Straightening, so I want to cut my hair shorter. What do you guys think of something like this? I did this on a website, so it obviously isn't perfect. First pic is from last year, but my hair is pretty much the same now. Second pic is what I want to do. Thanks for your opinions! I like you with a darker base, but I'd add a few lighter highlights to break it up.

I like the cut, but agree with the highlights idea...I would lean towards red highlights.

I think you can pull off the dark hair, but keep in mind, with your light skin, you're probably going to have to step up the makeup -

I like it!
My only concern - as someone with very straight hair, like yours looks in the first pic - is that it wouldn't be as full of body as the image is. It would take some product and some time to get my hair to kinda flip up at the ends and look cute like that.
But if you have the time to do it, or maybe your hair does that naturally anyway, go for it!

Thanks so much ladies! I've gotten mixed reviews from my friends. I do think I'm going to do it dark, but maybe slightly lighter than that. As far as the cut, I know it will never really look like that..my hair is too fine!

I like it. I would add a few highlights because going that dark can look VERY harsh and fake without them, and I would do the cut, but add layers. It will help when your curly hair comes back.

Well ladies, I did it! Not as dark as what I originally posted, but still a big difference from the blonde. It's going to take a little getting used to, but I really like the change!
