? Hormone levels after IVF

At retrieval Est. 200

4dp3dt Est 213 and P4 15.1

6dp3dt est 133 and P4 14.

Levels went down but nurse said numbers are fine.

Est. needs to be over 100 and P4 over 10 is good. Between 1 and 5 day after transfer had mega cramping, bloated, tired. Now all is quiet.

I am concerned that embie didn't/wont take. I know it is too early to test pregnancy and beta is on Weds.

Do these numbers make sense? Is my body working right?

So confused.

Honestly.. I have no idea!

I didn't do any blood tests after my transfer (except for my beta!)

ummmmmmmmm I don't know...

I did blood work after my transfer but I didn't ask for the numbers....

Then I had the beta and my P was like 17 and my E was like 171... I got a BFP... so I think you are ok...

the only info I can offer you is on 9dp3dt (last cycle) my estrogen was at 32. And that was way too low and I knew I was not pg. A high estrogen # (like yours) is a good sign but not a total indicator. But, it is good. You are not on and estrogen patches or anything, right? What kind of progesterone are you on? PIO/Supp/Pill?

Still keeping my fingers crossed for your little miracle.

I am on estrogen and progesterone. Taking shots nightly for p4 and tabs 2x a day. Of course missed one this a.m. so now uterus feels like AF is coming on.

Did a POAS this a.m. and it was negative. I am just not hopeful anymore.

I might have been pregnant for a day or 2 then e2 dropped 100 points. Questioned nurse, but she rushed me off phone, so I don't think that was a good sign. I am so discouraged at this point. Oh well, there is always another cycle.

Estrogen and Progesterone levels are no indicator of pregnancy. The only indicator of pregnancy is HCG.
My E2 levels were always in the 100 range after transfer and my progesterone was always over 20 in the 2WW....it never was any prognosis for me being PG or not.

Some people have higher levels than others and vice versa - it has nothing to do with the ability to get or pregnant or whether or not you are pregnant. You would NOT have been PG for a day or two...Your levels may have been higher around the implantation time, but that's about it.

Thanks ladies, I will not be POAS anymore. I will wait for BW to see the real deal. Re-read my post and I sound like I am losing it...which I am, but hey, this journey makes people do crazy things. Have a great sunny day everyone.
