Horrible home invasion call that my hubby handled yesterday
My hubby is a cop and he was the first on the scene of this murder in Brooklyn yesterday.
This is SO scary to me!
I sometimes don't know how he is not in a mental hospital with all he sees at work- I have been disturbed by this since he told me about it yesterday morning...

my DH is friends with the woman who was killed 
I know her and her roomate. It's terrible.
they got the story mixed up... they weren't sisters.

I heard about this on the news last night. This is horrible and they think that the gunman was actually trying to rob the tenants from upstairs. So sad.

You are right- my husband just told me that.
He told me about what he saw when he got there- how her friend was still screaming on the phone with 911 - and he had to take the phone away from her and tell her it was ok- the police were there now.
How he ran upstairs to the upstairs apartment where she was shot- and what he saw. How he got on the radio and told them to rush the ambulance - that the girl was dying as he spoke.
It is so upsetting to hear this first hand from him... I'm truly disturbed by this.

I know! I understand. DH is NYPD also, it's very hard to hear some of the things and see things on the news thathe has dealt with.
