Hospital Bag --Stony Brook
This is really the least of my concerns, but I don't want to pack too much to bring to the hospital.
Does anyone know if Stony Brook Hospital has things like soap, shampoo/conditioner, and bath towels or do I have to bring all of that with me?
Also...what about a hairdryer?
Any info would be great!! Thanks

I think they had towels but I brought my own toiletries.
To be honest, though, I haven't been there since they renovated. I heard it is beautiful now. Strange to say but can't wait!

They give you everything, but I don't think they had hair dryers. I think the shampoo was a combo shampoo/conditioner. I was there in April 2010.

Hospitals always have some toiletries, but they're so cheap. (Trust me, I work at one!) You're better off bringing your own travel sized stuff.
They def have towels. And no hairdryer.

I brought my own soap, shampoo, conditioner, I can't live w/out Dove soap lol. I didn't bring a hairdryer (b/c I didn't bother packing it) but they didn't have one there for me to use.

Bring your own stuff. They do have towels but I brought a few of mine as well. The new ward is gorgeous!
