Hosting a party.....
So - I have been inspired to host one of those parties - you know the ones I'm talking about. But - I don't know which one to host!
I really want something to do with home decor - what company do you ladies suggest that is reasonable?
I would LOOOOVE to do Country Living.. but I don't think they "do" parties.
Thanks for your input ladies!

Re: Hosting a party.....
My favortie to attend is pampered chef. My friend had a home decorators party and they have nice stuff, alot of it was a bit pricy though

I think Pampered Chef is a great party---and their products aren't as pricey as other parties and the quality is excellent. Just used my PC garlic press a little while ago and my 'mix-n-chop' spoon!

Re: Hosting a party.....
My SIL is a Party-Lite rep. I just went to one of her candle parties and their new fall/winter catalog is wonderful. And, because she brings so many samples, the house where the party was held looked gorgeous all lit up. Pampered chef is tough for me. I have a lot of allergies and weird rules for what I eat.

Re: Hosting a party.....
Thanks for the suggestions ladies. As for Pampered Chef... does the person actually cook/prepare for you in your home?
Party-Lite sounds fun! I checked out the website and I didn't see any product prices. Are they reasonable? Can you give me some items and prices so I have an idea? Thanks!

For home decor, do Southern Living. They are a bit $$, but their merchandise is beautiful!!!!!!!!!

For the PC Parties I've been to, yes, the consultant prepared something for the party.
PartyLite's prices depend on what you are buying. Some of it is overpriced, some of it is right on. Personally, I love all the things I have from PartyLite. Their candles are great. I am a permanent convert from Yankee Candle for pillars and votives for sure. PL candles last long, smell nice and burn really well.
ETA: I can recommend a PartyLite Consultant if you'd like. She did my party. FM if you are interested.

Re: Hosting a party.....
Partylite is good because if people don't want to spend a lot they can buy candles that are awesome. I like Southern Living at Home and Signature HomeStyles( I used to be a rep for them), there stuff is affordable, & really nice quality website
