Hotels in NYC
I have just looked at some websites for some hotels in NYC and was shocked to find that even a Best Western Hotel in Midtown was $375 a night. Can anyone recommend a NICE hotel in NYC for maybe $200, $250 a night...
I am thinking of whisking my husband away into the city when we are on LI in September for a night of loving....good loving. But to be honest, his loving isn't worth $375. Its really worth more like $250 ish.

Marriot was offering a 199 special. I got in in my email. Be careful though to check tripadvisor, because MANY NYC hotels have bed bugs now.

Not sure of the prices now but stayed at both of these hotels and liked them.
Excelsior Hotel

Park Central
870 7th Ave. (7th/56th)
