House plants...?? I need recommendations...
I need an idea for two diffrent types of house plants. I want one for my dining room table, and one for my other end table. I already have a peace lily, so any other recommendations would be great. TIA Ladies.

Dining room table - a topiary would look good, like an ivy. end table, maybe a cluster of african violets if you want some color, but they don't tolerate drafts or being moved around a lot. Trying to think of things that don't need direct light - Jade plant Kalanchoe Small palms Cissus Ivy Small Rubber tree - slow growing so put three in a pot to make it bushy. Philodendron Snake plant, also called mother in laws tongue.

Its okay for direct light because it is literally right next to a huge picture window that is always open. I actually had to move my peace lily because it was leaving the leaves black and burnt. Do any of these do well with direct sunlight?? Thanks for the response. I actually want an african violet for my bedroom!!!

The Jade and Kalanchoe should be fine. Mine sit in front of a window that gets full light, but only a little bit of direct sunlight. Spider plants, wandering jew, elephant ear would do good with that type of light as well. The peace lily needs a lot of humidity, and likes to have damp but not sopping wet soil.
