As a single mom.....
I always had a hand for my daughter and a hand for everything else
A trip to the gym, meant a gym with babysitting
Dating had a different criteria than how good they looked and what they drove
Disney with one parent can be done.....but it is a test of true strength to make it to the all star bus bay after fifty million hrs in the parks
Bribery works, and I'll never ever run out of m and ms or lollipops
I realized that for the years that it was just my dd And I if we did go out to eat there we always crayons on the table
Now that I am happily married that's how I tell my husband I want a nite out....can we go to a restaurant that doesn't have crayons for the table???
Ps .... When we got married he told us that he was marrying both of us and my DD was part of the ceremony with her own ring and all.....we both got a great guy

awww...my cousin was a single mom.
we were at disney once,and she throws her 4 year old up on her shoulders.
she was obviously in pain.
i asked why not stroller...
she said if she isn't on my shoulders, she will never experience riding on anyones

Single moms are superwomen in my eyes - even moreso now that I have my own kids!
I agree! Dont know how they manage it. I give them a TONNNNNN of credit!

Paper aside they are all hearwarming AND encouraging
I recently posted a photo of President Cllinton and President Obama that said :

Political parties aside it made me smile
