How did everyone tell DH...
That they were prego? Any exciting ways to do it?

I POAS at 6:15AM and screamed for him to come into the bathroom...he thought something happened(he was sound asleep) and ran in!!
However, if it didn't happen that way I would have either wrapped up the stick or bought a bib that said 'daddy's little girl/boy' and wrapped it up!

Nothing exciting....I had taken a test 1 week before my BFP and it had come up negative. We went upstate the next weekend, went to Saratogoa. While we were at a friends house staying there, he whispered to me, 'you are glowing'.
When we came home that Sunday, I went into the bathroom, just to check if by chance I was preggo...the test came up positive.
I called DH in the bathroom saying, "Can you come here for a minute?" He thought I got AF, or I wanted him to kill a bug. I asked him to look at the stick on the counter, and he said, "What does 2 lines mean?"
I said, "It means you are going to be a daddy."

I bought him a thank you card, and then found a bib that says "I Love my Daddy"....
He was shellshocked to say the least when he opened the present....

This was not what I would call planned, so my original way was to find out, cry for 4 days, then tell DH. lol This was literally our conversation:
Me: Uumm can you sit down with me for a minute?
DH: I feel like sh1t, mind if I lay down?
Me: That's probably a good idea.
DH: ??
Me: Soooo I can't go get tattooed with you this weekend like we had planned.
DH: WHAT??? Why? I thought we were going together!
Me: Well they say you are not supposed to get tattooed when you are pregnant.
DH:.........
Me:.........
:::20 minutes pass:::
Me: Do you want to talk about it?

I had taken tests all weekend, and we maybe, sorta kinda saw a line, but he was not believing it.
The next day I took a test, saw the two lines and decided to put the test in his folded napkin (yeah, at the dinner table). We sat down, and when he unfolded his napkin he saw the test.
He says, "are you sure", I say "yup, you're gonna be a daddy" and he jumped up and high fived me.
...yup, we're a couple of romantic fools

That's funny - that is something I would do.
We had a convo earlier in the day and he was saying that our kids are going to be so far apart if we don't think about it soon. I made it seem like I didn't know if I wanted anymore anyway. I knew I was going to get and take a test because I thought that I was.
I called him later that day and said "remember that conversation we had earlier....." "well, I don't think that they are going to be as far apart as you think." He was sooooo happy.
I had to tell him on the phone because I wasn't going to see him until 11 p.m. I couldn't wait that long so I called him.

Too Funny!
I always imagined doing it in some special way, but DH was OnCall all day and overnight, so I sent him a text message of a photo of the test.
He thought it was an electrical outlet strip and that I blew the TV. Then he looked closer and realized it was a pregnancy test

I always thought I'd do it in a creative way but I was in shock, I suppose.
I took the stick and showed it to him while saying..."I guess you were right, you do have super sperm!" Then it was his turn to be in shock.
(background: he laughed at me when he saw me putting my legs in the after after we BD'd...he said I didn't need to b/c he had "super sperm".)

Me too! I was so shocked it happened the first month trying that I walked out with the stick and showed him the digitial "pregnant" and I say what do you think this means? He was so happy he couldn't believe it either!

I went to the bakery and got a roll. Then I wrote "Hi Dad" on it with black marker and put it in the oven. So DH comes home from work and we are talking about dinner and then he starts to cook and goes in the oven for a pan. (we store them in the oven).
So then he starts saying why did you leave this in here, aren't you afraid of getting bugs? (he was a little annoyed) So then I said "Oh you mean the bun we have in the oven?" Then he got it.
Funniest thing was he was coming over to hug me and put the roll down on top of a speaker - well my dog swoops in grabs the roll and starts eating it, it was funny.

I was so in shock that my first pregnancy test came out positive that I walked out of the house (lights on, door unlocked) and went to the pharmacy to buy 3 more tests. DH got home from work while I was out and called me to see what was going on and I told him that I took a pregnancy test, but it was expired so the results could be wrong so I went out to buy more...
I got home and he was with me when I took a second test to confirm. And the next day a third. And then a fourth. And the next morning a fifth.

This was a surprise- not an accident, but a surprise.
So I found out while he was at work, and then actually spoke to him on the phone without telling!
He came home, I still couldn't tell. I let him shower. Then he's standing naked in the bathroow cleaning his ears, and I just told him "I'm pregnant". He was like "No sh!t"
Beautiful stuff.
eta- when I showed him the stick, he also said "what does 2 blue lines mean?"
I said "it means pregnant"

I am tearing up over here! Not wanting to crash your board, but hoping to be a member of it soon.
I always imagine myself taking my shoes off and standing in the kitchen barefoot and telling DH he finally has me barefoot pregnant and in the kitchen, but I will probably just wind up running out of the bathroom like a maniac and yelling it.

I showed him the test! Nothing too exciting.
The funny part is that DH had just come home from work telling me he didnt feel well. After showing him the BFP he said I have to use the bathroom, he went and threw up (he had a stomach bug) Then I was throwing up (early m/s) So when ever a friend asks how he reacted (especially knowing we werent "trying") I tell them, "well right after we found out we were both in the bathroom puking!!!!!!
