With my first, it was a few weeks before Christmas so I wrapped up an ornament that said "Parents-to-be" and gave it to him when he got home from work telling him it was an early gift.
2nd time-wasn't as exciting. I honestly didn't think I was pregnant but I was late so I peed on a stick and the 2 dark lines showed up! He was out getting pizza and I just called his cell and said "holy ****--we're pregnant, hurry home with the pizza!"

I took about 5 HPT's the day I got my BFP. DH was coming home from a business trip the next night so I had to not answer the phone that night when he called. So the following night after work I went and got TONS of pink and blue balloons and a few of the mylar ones that said "BABY" on them. I put them all over our condo and attached my 5 positive HPT's to some of them (the digital ones still said "pregnant") WHen he walked in the door- his face just beamed

Same way I told mine! I really didn't think about it in advance. Frankly, I was kind of surprised.
Same here... actually, I was so shocked I brought the test and the instructions over to him and said "is it me or is this positive?"

I am tearing up over here! Not wanting to crash your board, but hoping to be a member of it soon. 
I always imagine myself taking my shoes off and standing in the kitchen barefoot and telling DH he finally has me barefoot pregnant and in the kitchen, but I will probably just wind up running out of the bathroom like a maniac and yelling it.
Don't worry about being a crasher...because a crasher started it I am not pregger yet either...just looking for some good ideas....all of them have been great so far...thanks ladies!!

Because I'm a wacko and tested at work, I called him.
I didn't want to be overheard at work, so I said, "YOu know that thing we were trying to do"
And he's like "ugh, yeah?"
I said "It worked"
He said "No way, I knew it. Saying Super Baby worked"

I tested after DH had already left for work. I waited until he got home that night (very hard to keep to myself) and I handed him the book "My Boys Can Swim" with a little post-it-note that said, "#1 Dad (to-be)."
My astute DH tossed the book aside and said, "I get it, but aren't we trying already. Now I have to read a book about it too?"
So I just handed him the stick that said "Pregnant" and he finally got it. He was very happy!

Ditto.  He knew we were trying so it wasn't a HUGE surprise.
He was out of the country for 1 week before I got my BFP. I told him over the phone that I didn't think I was PG. I had tested and received a BFN. So he assumed that AF had shown up while he was out of town. When I tested again, almost a week later, I received my BFP. He was confused at first and then excited.

He told me!
I've never ever been late and I was late in July. He told me get a test, I did, even though I was doubting I was pg (this was our first month trying).
I took the test and he ran into the bathroom in less than a minute (I think we have to wait 3 minutes) and he said, "Holy cow, it says your pregnant. And so fast too - you must really be pregant!"

I called him (he was at work) and asked him if he could come home. He asked why, I said because I'm having a hard time determining if there is a plus or minus. He said "On what". I said on a hpt, he freaked and was like no way.
So then I took two more tests when he was home to confirm.
