I wish I could say something fun and exciting but we just moved into our new home, I was three months pregnant and felt horrible so we just stayed home.

I spent mine at my Inlaws while DH played golf. Let's just say we had a HUGE argument!

Actually, that would be the BEST anniversary ever, for us to have our house and be pregnant!
You were lucky!

Re: How did you celebrate your 1 year wedding anniversary?
On a trip to Puerto Rico with all of my inlaws. My husband worked for Marriot at the time and they figured since he got such a good room rate it would be great if we made it a big family trip.

Re: How did you celebrate your 1 year wedding anniversary?
We wanted to go back to the Fox Hollow, but for some reason couldn't. We had dinner at Carltun on the Park and watched our wedding video at home that night.
DH also come through with my Cartier watch for an awesome gift
We also had the top tier of our wedding cake which I wrapped so carefully so we could do this.

Re: How did you celebrate your 1 year wedding anniversary?
We were on vacation for a week. We spent 4 days at the beach house and then came home for the night and left early in the morning for 5 days in the Poconos. But on the actual day we were at the beach house and spent the day out in Greenport and then went to dinner at Trumpets on the Bay in Eastport.
We then did something that has become a tradition with us......after dinner we went back to the beach house and had our wedding cake as well as some of an anniversary cake that we ordered to be made like our wedding cake was supposed to be & champagne. We then looked through our album & pictures (we now watch our video) and then danced to our songs.

Re: How did you celebrate your 1 year wedding anniversary?
we are going on a trip to jamaica for 8 days!! so excited!
our anniversary is in september but we are going in december b/c we decided that we'd rather go away when the weather is colder here -- vs. september when the weather is so pretty.
we'll prob go to dinner ON our anniversary (9/9) and have our cake topper -- IDK how that will taste lol.

Re: How did you celebrate your 1 year wedding anniversary?
We went to the Atlanits for a week
The actual night of our anniversary was the day before we left for vacation and we were leaving on DH's b-day so we had my parents and IL's over and we all went out to dinner. We came home and had our cake....which tasted as good as the day of the wedding!

Re: How did you celebrate your 1 year wedding anniversary?
We spent the weekend in Manhattan.. saw a show, saw the sights, stayed in a really fancy hotel/suite... it was really nice to 'escape' to somewhere that was still so closeby
