We went to Block Island for 2 nights and it was great! We took the ferry over and it was really cute there...we did the beach, mopeds, ate a lot of seafood and it wasn't that expensive (which we needed, lol)!!!

we would have went out to Montauk or the Hamptons but since I am very pregnant I couldnt do much walking.
Instead we went toa movie and then had dinner at Cafe joelle in Sayville. It was a lot of fun

Our 1 year was last Sunday. On Saturday we went to a really nice dinner at Blackstone Steakhouse and then to a block party ater that. The day after our anniversary my parents came over for an hour and his parents came over for like an hour and then we just relaxe for the rest of the day.

I was 9 months pregnant. We live in Chicago. We went to see Wicked and out to dinner at Roy's (owned by the same people who own one of the restaurants we went to on our HM in Hawaii) the day before. On the day of our anniversary (a Sunday) we went to a really nice brunch at the Four Seasons (we stayed at a Four Seasons on our HM.)

We were supposed to go to a resort in the Mexican Riviera but a hurricane was going through there. 2 days before we were supposed to go, we switched to go to Vegas for the week. We had a blast!
For our actual Anniversary, it was Thanksgiving weekend so we were with my family. My parents brought the top of the cake and we ate it. It was soooo good

We went to Nevis for a week in June! I was away on business during our anniversary in April so it had to wait a couple of months

I flew home from a work event, completely exhausted. We ate at the closest place we could find near LaGuardia since I was starving.
It doesn't sound romantic, but I did orchestrate a 400 person event to end so I could get my flight home.

We went out to dinner, we had purchased our condo the year of our first and were really tight. However, for our second which is in a couple of weeks we are going to Mexico for 7 days: Mayan Riviera.

We actually went to dinner and stayed at the hotel we were at the night of our wedding. DH had champagne and gave me an anniversary ring. It was so romantic

We had an amazing dinner at 21 Main in Sayville and ate our top layer of cake (not the enitre thing, just a bite)!
We did the same thing....and then after that we went home and spent the rest of the night with our new born daughter.

We were house poor so we gave each other a stainless steel garbage can for the kitchen and used a gift certificate to go to a resteraunt. The service was so bad we actually laughed about it... and how bad our cake top tasted!
