How did you know you were ready to TTC?
I'm just curious ... since we talk about it occasionally but know we are not ready yet

Re: How did you know you were ready to TTC?
I always knew since we got married that we wanted to start trying right away and so did DH. he is 35 and I am 29. we got married a year and 3 months ago. then we said we should wait and enjoy married life first and now we want to again. i was nervous; not knowing what to expect, and honestly, i dont think youre ever completely ready. but im sure when that beautiful baby comes into your life, you become ready. i cant wait! good luck to you!!!!

Re: How did you know you were ready to TTC?
DH had been harping on me about it (which is weird because I always wanted kids more than him, but he felt like we were at the age when we should start). I was holding strong that we would wait until next year, but then I started getting the baby feeling. Every person that was preggo or had a baby, I would be jealous of (still am!). I told DH I was ready after spending some time with a friend's baby....

thats funny because I am in a similar position. DH has been harping on me about it lately because his cousins wife is pregnant now and they got married after us. We got married in June and after us, his brother and cousin got married so hes like well we got married first so we should get pregnant first and dont let my brither get pregnant first; im older; im supposed to be first! we have to give my parents the first grandchild! its like a race! its so stressful! lol. but i do feel im ready. ive had baby fever for a while i jst feel like i always say well i need to lose weight first and we should be married a while first, etc. but you cant hold it off forever. i cry when i see other babies. i want one so bad!!!!

Re: How did you know you were ready to TTC?
I always wanted a baby, but my husband had to reason with me that we needed to have a house and space before we could TTC. We finally have a house so we have been working on it.

Re: How did you know you were ready to TTC?
With our DD, we started trying around 6 months after the wedding and got pregnant pretty quickly. We didn't want to wait too long, were in our early 30s, good jobs, good place financially, etc. We had wanted to be in a house first and that almost didn't happen-but it did, right before she was born.
We knew we wanted kids close in age so we decided to start trying again around her first birthday.
