How did you pick your paint colors?
I know I'm going to be so bad at picking paint colors that complement each other. We essentially have a blank canvas b/c the sellers left most of the home white with the exception of awful stencils along the border of many of the walls.
How did you pick your paint colors? Did you get any help from people at the paint store or any other professionals? I love looking at the pictures people post and seem to like a lot of the BM colors. I'm sure I'll have trouble figuring out which color looks good in which room.
If you don't mind sharing, what colors did you use in each room? Do you have any pictures? TIA for your help.

Looking at others pics, looking at catalogs or websites. What colors do you love, what inspires you. Go to the store and look at the BM swatches, take them home with you. Maybe get some small sample size paints. If you have material you like, like a comforter or pillow or curtain.....you could jump off of that with a color that compliments it. What color is your furniture? Light or dark? Play off of that too. Go onto BM site and play around.

ETA: Check out everyone's pics on here. Pics in my albums.

I was having a really hard time. We moved in a month ago and now I'm starting to get a better feel of what I want. I think I needed to live here for awhile first.
