How often does he eat? My DD ate every two hours around 3-2 ounces each time. I would put in 3-4 ounces and see how much he eats. He will let you know when he is full. My DD would turn her head and purse her lips when she didn't want anymore.

It's trial and error. Try 3 oz. If DC wants more, try another oz. If DC doesn't finish it, start with 2oz next time.
I always struggle figuring this out.

In the beginning I stored milk in 2 or 3 oz amounts. You can always give more, but you don't want to waste it.

Re: How do i know how much pumped milk to store & give in each bottle???
I EBF my DS until 9 months and now my other DS 4 months and counting. To this day I am still so unsure how much to store. I hate to waste it so my usual rule is- always start off with 3 or 4 ozs and then I keep a 2oz. on hand sometimes another 2 ozs, depending on the time of day (they love to cluster eat at night). I also always keep some frozen milk in the freezer in small quantities like 1 oz just in case. Its liquid gold and I refuse to waste it. Defrosting a small amt. is so easy and relatively fast so that works well.
