How do I know if she's allergic to a certain fruit?

Olivia started fruit with her morning cereal. I introduced apples first. After about the fourth day, I noticed a slight rash on her cheeks. It's on both sides. No other symptoms at all. Is this an allergic reaction to the apples? Would there be any other symptoms?

It's been 3 days since she had the apples and the rash is still there. I haven't changed her lotion, shampoo, detergent,etc.

My DD had a smiliar reaction to carrots and oatmeal. I would stop giving the apples and move on to something else.

I would guess that's probably what it was. I would move on to a different fruit and then try the apples again in a week or 2 and see if she gets the rash again.

Thanks for the answers. I didn't think this required a call to the ped. Didn't want to drive him crazy. It's a very very slight rash.
