How do you acknowledge your parents/IL's anniversary?
Do you call, send a card, give a gift?

Send a card & call. If is it a milestone, we get a gift for them

Re: How do you acknowledge your parents/IL's anniversary?
We always take them out to a nice dinner.
This year though, my parents anniv. was during the week 2 weeks ago, so I sort of neglected to do anything because work was INSANE & time got away from me.
My inlaws is today. Since I am not speaking to them currently, nothing!
Edited to add that for each set of parents 30th Anniv. we threw a party. His parents at a restaurant with about 30 people, my parents at my cousins house!

Re: How do you acknowledge your parents/IL's anniversary?
my parents are divorced. my mom is remarried but I don't send them anything for their anniversary. DH never gave anything to his parents for their anniversary so we still don't.
in both families, anniversaries are for the couple. if they were to have a party or celebration, then i would get them a gift.

Re: How do you acknowledge your parents/IL's anniversary?
we've never given anything to ILs for their anniversary or celebrated it. It's a very strange relationship - i'm pretty sure they (ILs) don't even know their anniversary date!!! They just say 'thanksgiving' because that's the day it happened to be the year they got married. meanwhile the exact date of thanksgiving rotates obviously so we don't even know when it is.
i used to buy my parents a gift when i got a little older.

Re: How do you acknowledge your parents/IL's anniversary?
I just call and wish my parents happy anniversary. ILs are divorced, so that's n/a.

For my parents I used to do it all (call, card & gift). For my ILs, we send a card & call.

Re: How do you acknowledge your parents/IL's anniversary?
My parents are divorced. My mom never remarried, my dad did but I don't like his wife so I don't acknowledge it at all.
DH calls ILs for their anniversary (they live OOS) and since it's near the holidays we give them a gift for it along with their holiday gifts.
