How Do You Clean Your Flat Iron?
I started using a Sedu Revolution recently and the instructions mentioned using a flat iron cleaner on the plates to get rid of build up. I didn't know they made cleaners for flat irons? I couldn't find any on folica.com either. TIA!

I just wipe it off with a damp towel while it's still warm.
I never knew they made cleaners.

Do they work better when cleaned? I have 2 irons that i rotate between... a Chi and a GHD ..... and the Chi I have owned for YEARS (since college!) and NEVER cleaned it!  I'm wondering if it will work even better if cleaned.
Oh btw, even though I never cleaned mine, I was told to do it with some rubbing alcohol!

Supposedly it'll extend the life of your flat iron and improve its use when the product build-up is removed. SIL just wipes hers with warm water. I found a couple cleaners, but I wasn't sure if it was worth it. I might just wipe it with a damp cloth too!
