Re: How do you convert a Word file to a .pdf?
I think that you have to have a acrobat software, not just acrobat reader (which is the free application).

Re: How do you convert a Word file to a .pdf?
I used to do File, Print, and choose Adobe. It would then create the .pdf file.

You have to have Adobe Acrobat or Distiller.
Otherwise - you can email it to me at work and I can convert it for you and email it back

Re: How do you convert a Word file to a .pdf?
if you click print, there might be an option to "print" to adobe. You're not actually printing but rather, converting the file type. At least that's what I do on my PC. HTH!

Ah..in that case - you'll have to ask IT to install Distiller for you. That will allow the option to click "print" to Adobe.

Download the program that Blazesyth mentioned, or I use PDF995 They are free versions of Acrobat. They work just as well (sometimes better) as Acrobat. Once they are installed, you "print" the document, then choose the pdf creator as your "printer". Like Acrobat, it works from all Windows applications that you can print from.
