We do white net lights over all the bushes/ plants in the front of the house.

White lights around the columns.

Big wreath on the door.

White lights wrapped around the tree limbs on front lawn.

Large ornament balls in gold, sliver and white hanging off the tree in the front.

I have a large bay window where my tree is, you can see it from outside. Again, all white lights and Lenox ornaments.

I have a huge bay window so I put my christmas tree in front of it and you can see it from outside. I leave it lit up...

We put a white candle/light in each window.

And a wreath on the door.

Nice and simple.

We put white lights on all of our trees in the front. Wreaths on the side of the two front windows and in our front bay window we put the leg lamp.

We have a colonial, and I like it to be very simple- candles in each window, some garland on the portico and wreaths on the front windows and door.

Now if it were up to my DH, we'd have one of those houses that lights up the neighborhood- we have this battle every year!

White lights and garland around the front porch. Less is more IMO.

We hang icicle lights from all levels of our house & then decorate the outside bushes with either red or white....Then we have some lawn decorations (prelit snowman, present & soldiers). Then I hang a nice wreath on the front door...I also like to put window clings on the windows in our dining room.

All winter/summer long I have the automated candles in my windows...I am always getting compliments!

I put white lights around the bushes in the front of the house, the front door, front windows, and garage door.

On the lawn I have clear spiral trees - 3 of them.

I have 3 Gift boxes that light up yellow, green, and red

I have a wood sign that lights up clean and says JOY on it.

I have two snow men that light up, but last year I didnt put them up.

I also lights up the fence between my neighbors house on one side, and lights on the trees between my neighbors and I on the other side.

Its our first christmas as homeowners so I'm very excited!! I will probably keep it simple, and just put lights on the windows and bushes.

We put up the C-9 lights along the roofline, white lights on the front deck and weeping cherry, a funky Santa right outside the door, a lit snowman on the lawn and two white deer right in front of the deck.

We're on a corner so on the outside of our fence I put greenery garlands with red bows at each fence post and on the gate. Love how it looks with a little snow on it.
