how do you feel about your dh going to bachelor parties?
mine is going this saturday, which i'm fine with, but, its in AC and they might have to spend the night...plus, we dont exactly have much spending money with all of our bills, so i'm a little annoyed about that.

Agreed. My DH had a bachelor party. Since we weren't the first people to get married (somewhere in the middle) he had married friends there. I never understood that whole "now that he's married my DH doesn't go to bachelor parties any more"  . So, what - s*cks for the guy who gets married last because he won't have any friends that are allowed to go? I don't get it.

I am fine with it myself. I have total trust in my husband.
He has not gone to some because they are too expensive, but he has gone away for some. I am totally fine with it.

Well, I don't see the point but I wouldn't mind if DH went to one. If it was a money issue, I would just ask that he be as good as possible spending wise & just wish him fun.

yeah...i'm totally fine with going to the party...
Its just the expense..maybe he wont stay overnight.

I'm okay with it. I don't love when they go to strip clubs, but I accepted that it is a part of life, and I trust DH 100%. As far as the money, I figure the guys spent it on his, he should do the same for them. I usually try and find something to do with my girlfriends on those nights.

are you okay with it being overnight though?
my DH just went to one in AC, and I was okay with it being overnight. I'd rather them enjoy themselves and stay over than drive home late at night. I don't like being home alone, so I stayed by my parents.

thats true though..if he stayed overnight, i wouldn't have to worry about him driving tired & drunk..
good point!
and yes, i wouldn't mind having the house to myself for a little while

Depends for who and what the activities planned are...
Generally speaking, no, I wouldn't have a problem with it though I can understand the money aspect of it annoying you. Bachelor parties tend to be expensive.
I wouldn't be crazy about the idea of spending the night either...but I'd get over it. The most important thing for me would be to lay down some rules so that there are no misunderstandings later as to what is okay and what is not. Then you just trust him and let him go.

My DH just went to AC this past weekend. Normally he is a big gambler but he went down with a certain amount and only spent that amount. I'm fine with it - and really liked the peace and quiet of having the house to myself.
I was a little scared to sleep alone in the house though (with all of the invasions) so I had one of the girls sleep over.

I'm just thinking about the expense...but i guess we'll just deal with it..
and the guy who is getting married did go to my dh's bachelor party, so its only fair that he be there too.
