How do you get your child involved with modeling?

I want a reputable agency or other organization that I can submit photos of DD to. I didn't want to just send out her picture to every site on the Web. How do I get started?

I've been told by many people she's got a good "look" for it. And the photographer that did her holiday pics was amazed at how well she "works" the camera. She was very easy to photograph... if I can get some $$$ saved for her for college it'd be great.

Oh only one thing... being she's so young, I'd hate to schlep her into NYC. Anything on Long Island would be great. If I have no choice but the city let me know that too.

When my son was about 4 months to a year, I tried the modeling thing with him. He was in a magazine his big claim to fame. It is time consuming, you get called last minute alot of times, castings arent always fun and they were all in the city or even studios in NJ. The best advice I can give is to send your child's pics into the big modeling agencies. You should never have to pay for anything like pictures.

I sent my DS's pics into some agencies after researching for reputable ones....After I heard back from a few , I narrowed it down to 2 and he got signed with them....Unfortunately, most of the work is in NYC and NJ as PP said, so it is a lot of last minute go-see's etc- hence, tolls, parking fees and gas ...it was fun but hard work !...One of his agencies accepts online photo submissions GillaRoos.com, HTH Chat Icon
