How do you know DC is definitely teething?
Besides the obvious... are there any other signs I should be looking out for? She's not sleeping AT ALL lately not even naps and it's making for a very difficult time getting her down for bed. I don't want to give her Tylenol without a good enough reason.
Just wondering what else I should be looking for

Well, Jack's new thing is - when I am taking off his onesie and my hand is near his mouth - he will pull it in his mouth and start biting down on my hand. I give him the Tylenol basically everyday now. He would be miserable without it. I can't wait for these teeth to come through.
There were a few weeks where it def. wasn't bothering him as much - and the drooling had stopped also...I didn't give him the Tylenol then.
ETA: WHen I pull down his bottom lip I can see the whites of the teeth under his gums. Have you tried looking in her mouth?

I only knew after a tooth came in the first couple times.
Lately I give him 0.4 tylenol and then within 15 minutes he goes from a total crab to laughing or sleeping. I only gave it at night and first thing in the morning and poof - a couple days later, a tooth!

Same with DD. She will bite anything. When I'm rocking her lately after BFing she'll latch on to my chin and start biting Everything goes in her mouth and she's biting HARD She's got white spots... but nothing substantial... yet.

I *think* that the white spots probably really hurt them alot. Of course I don't know but - my ped told me not to worry about giving the tylenol at all. Jack is almost 20lbs too - so I know he's big enough to handle it. There is such a difference after I give it to him.
If you don't feel comfortable giving it to her yet then try one of those wet rags that people talk about - they say that helps. I tried it once with Jack - but sitting there and holding it was a real pain in the butt and he really wanted no part of it.
Maybe call your ped and see what he recommends.

DD would get diarreah right before each of her two teeth cut through. My mom said the same thing happened to me before I cut a tooth. It' something about all the drool and saliva in their tummies - makes for loose stool.
