How do you know if your computer has been hacked?
A few days ago I had a really hard time trying to log onto my bank account. I am 100% sure of the password, but wound up having to change it because it would not accept it (the screen said that if you attempt the wrong pw a certain # of times it will lock your acct). I called the bank in question and they could not give me any info but it wound up that there was an issue with their web site, not sure if it did have anything to do with it.
Then tonight I tried to log into another acct and it asked for identifying info. I checked the site multiple times to make sure it wasnt phishing, and it wasnt, but its never asked me for that stuff before.
Am I being paranoid?

did you or someone else delete your cookies and cache? If you recently did that would explain having to re-enter passwords.

Nope, and I never save passwords on the computer. I always re-enter it manually and completely log out. I was worried someone tried to get in using incorrect pw's and locked me out.
