how do you know when it is time to switch to a faster flow nipple?
KJ is using level 2 nipples now ...not sure when to up it to level 3...he finishes his bottles pretty quickly (under 10 minutes) so I am unsure

If he's not inverting the nipple, I wouldn't switch.
Also, I never bought faster flow nipples, I just made the ones I had a little bigger w/ a toothpick. Then I boiled them.
Worked great for us.

what do you mean inverting the nipple? DS sucks on the nipple so much that it looks like it collapses and when i pull it out of his mouth it returns to its shape. is that what you mean? maybe i should change to medium flow. hes 3 months.

My DD is 6 months and is on level 3 nipple (we switched a few weeks ago)
If DC is taking awhile to eat, that's how I went by (like taking 45mins to finish the bottle)

Yes mine does the same thing. He is almost 11 weeks. Does that mean we should move up to the level 2 nipples?

just switched DS to level two because he was pulling on the nipple too hard and bending it. He's 12 weeks.

we switch up when they are taking forever to finish....
i couldnt switch to the 3 nipple ds woiuld gag when i tried it and milk camew running out
