Medium well.
Ever heard of black and blue? I first heard of it when my boss ordered it at one of our holiday lunches. It means charred black on the outside and ICE cold raw on the inside. Basically still mooing.

What is it with the guys and the well done steak?!
My DH would rather eat a shoe instead of a well done steak!! He's a medium rare but can do rare or mooing if that's how it turned out on the grill and he's too hungry to be bothered cooking it longer!!!
I order medium well out because I'm always afraid medium will be medium rare. I pretty much like it on the edge of pink and not pink.

Thankfully not all guys...my DH likes his Mediun Rare just like me!!! And he cooks it perfectly everytime!!!!!

Me , medium, DH likes his "Killed" very very well done. Funny we are having steak tomorrow night,and I hate to time it so they are done at the same time. Such a pain!
