How do you make/serve your pierogies?
They are my new obsession  I buy the pre-made kind and usually just make them with sautéed onions and serve with sour cream, looking for new ideas!

I have only made frozen ones. I usually just have them with sour cream. Sorry - no new ideas for you!

I saute them in butter and onions and serve with sour cream...YES TERRIBLE FOR YOU BUT DELISH!!!!

I just get the cheddar frozen ones. Zap for a few seconds to get things going. Then into melted butter until crispy.
I dip them in horseraddish sauce....SO GOOD!

Sauteed in butter with onions, served with either sauerkraut or sour cream.
I make them as a side to kielbasi, german sausage or ham.

The way my Polish grandmother made them, boil them for 5 mins (if made from scratch), then pan fry in butter & onions. Serve with horseradish beets or sour cream. So good!!!!!

Same as most. I pan fry them in evoo and saurcraut. Serve w/ sourcream or greek yogurt.

I love the ones from rapaki polish deli. I generally sautee with onions and butter and serve with our cream. We've made them before but I prefer theirs, so yummy!

My BFF, who lives in Australia now  is Polish and should be a chef. She is an AMAZING cook. Absolutely incredible. She makes her own pierogi's, and this is from her blog. It's 2 parts, so make sure you click onto the second part of it. It's time and labor intensive but I can vouch for the over-the-top deliciousness!!!

I buy them fresh from the polish deli. First I cook up some bacon and move it to a plate to drain. Then I saute some onions in butter and bacon fat & add the Pierogies. Crumble the bacon and add back to pan. Serve with sour cream!! Totally not healthy but soooo delish!

I get them fresh from the local Polish shop. I like the Ruskie ones.
I boil them for a minute or so and then fry them up in butter until crisp. I then serve them with sour cream. I love them with crackling like they serve them in Poland, but I haven't found that here. Oh well.

I made them with apples and cabbage and it was yummy, next time I would use less cabbage .

I like the Mrs. T's frozen ones too. We usually just boil them and dip them in apple sauce (sounds weird but SO good) or sometimes we saute them with butter or oil and onions

I used to par boil them and then fry them up with onions.
Now I just lay them frozen on a baking sheet and bake, and at the end, layer them with melted cheese.
