How do you NOT vent about your job

My co-workers and I tend to gather around daily to vent about our job. We are all social workers so I am sure some of you can understand why we do this.

Anyways, there's someone new who is supposed to start on Monday. The plan is for her to take over some of my cases (Thank goodness because a lot of them are in Queens and I live in Suffolk).

I don't know anything about her but I sure as hell don't want to scare her away, because I obviously want her to take these cases off my hands.

We all do it though............any tips? A lot of times my co-workers will open their mouths too so it's hard......
