How do you organize the clothes DC grows out of?

I feel like Ryan is growing so fast that I can't keep up with packing away his stuff. I had an under-the-bed type tubberware in his bedroom that I started with with NB clothes but now he is almost 14wks and in 6 months stuff. I have a lot of off season stuff that wasn't worn (a lot of gifts rec'd were heavier winter stuff since he was due in March but it was a lot of 0-3 months so by the time he was ready for it it was spring).
I'm at the point where I just have gift bags filled with onesies and outfits he outgrew.
How do you keep this stuff organized? I def. want to hang on to it for my next child ( a lot of my 0-3 months is gender neutral).

I have clear rubbermaid containers like the one posted above. Clear because I can see what is inside. The underbed storage is too small for smaller clothes. I do use it for bigger size he is not wearing yet though.

I also used the clear containers for my maternity clothes.

I just got space bags from Bed Bath and Beyond. My house is small and I know I won't open the bags until we have baby #2 so I want everything to take up as little space as possible. I have all of his NB-3month clothes in one bag.

Same here - same exact containers but we never had newborn sizes so it was:

Container 1: 0-3
Container 2: 3-6
Container 3: 6-12
Container 4: 12-18 (starting now)
Container 5: Miscellaneous (shoes, unused bibs, bath towels and such - all new never used, halloween costume, holiday outfits and bibs)

I did the same as the above posters, except when I had #2 the organized bins went to H E L L. I washed the clothes and put them back in, not always folded...just don't have the time!!

Re: How do you organize the clothes DC grows out of?

I bought the huge vacuum pack bags and placed 0-6 months in one and 6-12 in the other. They are stored in our storage room in case we have another boy. If not, I will give them to future nephews or friends that have boys

with three boys, I cant possibly keep it all. I give away to friends, charities, etc. and then I keep a few favorites.

Re: How do you organize the clothes DC grows out of?

I just through them all into a rubbermaid box. I saw how my sil had her sons done.. all in smaller robbermaid boxes labeled 0-3, 3-6, 6-9.. i thought that made alot more sense.. that way when you need you can just take down one box instead of like me taking down a huge box and having to go through each outfit... Same here. And I'm not sure with Andy's stuff I kept the sizes together, I may have put stuff in bins that had room and forgot to make a note on the bin. Oh well....

By size in bins in the attic. I usually accumulate stuff in a bag in my closet and when it's full enough, I make my DH drag the bins down for me.

This is exactly what i've been doing... We got so many presents that I do have the stuff she will grow into in boxes labeled 6 - 9 months and 12 months +, (and grandma is going to outlets again next week!) I will probably do the reverse, but Megan is growing a little slower than Ryan right now - she is only 25th percentile in weight, so she can still fit into some of her 0-3 months outfits...
