I take all the coveringw off DS in the carseat and his back still gets sweaty. Does this happen to you? How can you prevent it?

In the summer when DD was in her infant carseat, this would happen to her. How warm are you getting your car in the winter??? We had a Chicco Keyfit and it's a common complaint that the fabric doesn't "breathe" and that little ones get really hot in it in the summertime before the car can cool off with the A/C. But in the winter, I never heard of that. You can try putting a thin towel behind him so he's not touching that synthetic material, maybe that will help (we did this for DD in the summer sometimes but it was a pain to readjust all the time).

We don't make the car too hot and lately have been trying to lower the heat right after the car warms up so he doesn't get too hot.
