I mostly shop the circulars. I try not to be too brand specific or stock up when there are really good sales.
ETA -- I also check the circulars for all the stores near me for the best prices of the things I need.

Well I always use the king kullen coupon at Stop and Shop for extra savings.
I do this too! Love the fact that Stop and shop takes that coupon.
I also use tons of manufactuer's coupons.
They double up to 99 cents too- so it really adds up.

I do a lot of food shoping at BJ's and Target now. save a $1 here, $2 there - it really adds up after a while! I also use coupons.

I have used that coupon MANY times as well. but lately I haven't spent $75 at S&S. I love the $5 & $7.50 coupons from KK! I get a lot more use out of those. and if I am ever under by a few dollars, I get a book of stamps from the cashier. that always pushes up my total to the amount I need to spend in order to use it

Coupons and the KK or Pathamark coupon that S&S takes. I also only buy what is on sale. I don't buy too many snacks and I rarely buy soda, which can really add up!

I mainly shop at target and trader joes
unless there is a good sale on something- like this week it was buy 5 cases of cole for $10 and buy 1 ice cream - get 2 free- so I went to waldbaums for that- but not to get anything else

Me too. I buy all the stuff like granola bars, cereal, milk at Target, and try to just do meat, cold cuts, etc. at the supermarket. Target's normal prices are less than the sale supermarket prices.

I shop for produce at the farmers market near my house, waaaaay cheaper and better quality.
I only buy if it's on sale and stock up.
I have learned not to impulse shop.
Leave DH home is right!!!!!!
I actually have been doing a lot of shopping at Western Beef lately. There's a great one in Mineola, their bread is AMAZING and I find their meat to be so much better in price and quality than S&S, even when S&S has a sale!!!
I always forget to use coupons, but it's nice when I remember.
DH hits Costco for items we know are a bargain there, but you have to know your prices.

I shop the circulars first, and plan my menu for the week based off of what's on sale. I also use coupons and have their rewards card on my keychain so I never forget it. Also, I usually use Waldbaums but King Kullen doubles coupons sometimes so I'll try to stop there to get some of the things that i need if I have coupons. HTH!

I buy stuff on sale..use coupons when I can & get the generic when I can.
For my food it is a little tougher since I try to eat organic as much as possible, but even with that there are member savings & coupons I use when I can.

Coupons!!! I also return bottles once every 3 weeks & use the deposit refund off my bill. I don't buy things unless they are onsale. I try to stick w/the store brands unless necessary to get the brand name

we usually only spend about $50 a week for 2 of us.... i try to be good at planning out meals and only get we NEED instead of impulse shopping.... we also stock up on meats when they are on sale and freeze them... that way each week we only need to buy the veggies or something for a "side dish" to go with the meats. i'm also not super picky about brands- i'll usually buy whatever brand is on sale for most stuff, which helps save a lot.

that's me as well. I don't care what kind of PITA it is to push around 2 carts. one with food, the other with baby. Bringing DH raises the total.
