How do you stay on track...
During AF? ???? I did so well for weeks 1 and 2 on ww. And then tbaf shows up and ruins it all. It starts with the bloating. I am starving yet gaining weight and even though I know it's not real, it totally messes with my head. I am extra hungry and since I am gaining anyway I just eat. Then I get cravings for things I can't have on ww no matter how you try to fit it in. So in trying to fulfill that craving I eat all other stuff that may be on plan but still adds up. Then we get to the day tbaf comes and I am so drained. I am on the couch right now with ds doing my best to not neglect him and thinking that cooking the salmon and cous cous and salad I have planned sounds like the worst torture in the world. I don't want to eat it either. I want ring dings and chips. I can't even order out pizza or anything because I weigh in tomorrow morning. Not that any of it matters because I will be up on the scale due to bloating.... And again, even though it isn't real I still want to cry when I hear it. Ww should really introduce a pms pass that you can hand over to skip weigh in once a month. Awful. I just feel awful.
How do you get through it??? How do you not indulge in cravings that make you gain and how do you muster up the energy to cook healthy after a long day of work with a major case of hormonal crankies?
So to go on and on but I need to vent somewhere and she wasn't hearing it. Lol!

Re: How do you stay on track...
so true! the weeks with AF are the worst on WW! i kind of give myself a pass and don't get discouraged (well i try) i just had 3 weeks where i i lost on .2 lbs and/or stayed the same...it was but last week i lost 1.8 and was so b.c it finally happened LOL i am trying to make WW more of a way of life this time instead of a diet to fit into my clothes (which really is my main motivation) but like when AF is coming i let myself use those extra points! i also will warm up a choc. vitatop, put lite cool whip and a dark chocolate jello sugar free pudding on it and it's a great sweet fix without major guilt. and as for dinner, on those nights i'm too tired to chop a vegetable, i heat up a 2 pt. boca burger and eat it on a 3 pt. deli flat..dinner! not the most amazing dinner but low in pts and easier than anything. hang in there and give yourself some slack!

Re: How do you stay on track...
THanks and great job on the 1.8!!
It's tough. I actually woke up this morning and felt like the bloat is leaving the building. Maybe I will get lucky and have a loss after all.
I made the salmon and veggies last night and resisted the urge to rip into DS's brownies. I just went to bed early because I was just so tired and miserable that I think I just needed sleep. No joke.. I was in bed by 8:30. I feel a lot better this morning. I was in such a funk last night.
WHat is vitatop? So you make a portion of dark choc pudding, cool whip and put vitatop on top? Not sure what Vitatop is but, the rest sounds good!
thanks for the support!

http://www.vitalicious.com/store-vitatops.html?gclid=CMTNhpPfzLUCFUVN4AodvXMADw these are vitatops-i get them at target and most food stores in the frozen section. i think they are good when you need a sweet or chocolate fix. i'm impressed you made the dinner! lol some nights going to bed that early is the best thing. oh an i actually buy the jello pudding cups in the fridge section-they are 60 cal each and sugar free. they are the little pudding snack cups. i know if you are tryin to eat clean these are not the best but i'm not that good! good luck and keep up the great work!
