Re: How do you store your shoes
I have a fabric shoe organzier that hangs over the inside of the closet door- it has like 10 different pockets to hold pairs of shoes... depending on your closet you can buy one for each door. I also have a shoe rack in the bottom of the closet.
The rest are thrown under the bed or on the closet floor.

Re: How do you store your shoes
I have racks but not all my shoes fit on there so I keep some in boxes and others lined up on the floor in the closet. I have way too many shoes.

Re: How do you store your shoes
I have 2 of those canvas-y shoe organizers that hang from the closet rod--they each hold 10 pairs. Then I have boots, sneakers and flip flops along the floor under the hanging stuff. I also change about half the shoes out by season and those that are out of season are in an under-bed container.

Re: How do you store your shoes
Since we live in an apartment, I use evey inch of storage space I can.
I have shoes organizers under our beds.
Easy to see what I have without having to pull boxes out all those boxes from the closet.
Only other way I can think is to take pics of each pair & tape it to the outside of each box - or place them in individual clear boxes.

Re: How do you store your shoes
I put them on the floor of my closet. I put the left show on the floor and the right shoe on top of it. Almost like the picture but without the organizer thing.
I have a rack for shoes in my basement as well. When the season changes I switch the shoes on my floor with the ones in the basement.

I keep them in their original boxes, but I tape a photo of the shoes on each box. I usually use the photo from a website like Zappos.

I have a small closet, so I have to keep most of my shoes & boots in the basement, but having the photos definitely makes it easier for me (and my DH when I send him to the basement to get me a specific pair. ) Plus it prevents them from getting dusty, which drives me nuts!
(Had to crop the pic because my "private" shoes & boots are on the bottom. Those need to remain in the bedroom. )Image Attachment(s):

I don't have that kind of time! (It would require me pulling out the backdrop and lighting.)

Where is this from? I had one that is similar, but it just collapsed on me. It looks like this is sturdier than mine!
Right now, all my shoes are in a laundry basket until I get a new shoe rack. I also have the under the bed one with the clear top for "dressier" shoes (like special occassion shoes, I don't need to access on a daily basis. I also switch out for spring/summer & then Fall/winter. Boots are on the floor under hanging clothes.

Actually, I don't have that particular one. I bought mine at Linens & things awhile back. Just googled shoe organizer so I could post a pic.
I believe this particular one is from Lillian Vernon if you want to look upsome reviews on it.

Re: How do you store your shoes
I recently bought clear shoe boxes from the container store, they are amazing, they have different sizes too, I stack them in my closet, they fit into each other neatly and put some under my dresser (where you cant see)

Re: How do you store your shoes
I keep all my shoes and sneakers in their original boxes lined up very neatly on the bottom of my closet and I stack them. The only ones I take out of the boxes are my uggs and high boots since the boxes are so big and long it takes up to much space. It's out of control.....I have way too many shoes, boots and sneakers.......
