How does Amazon.com work?
I've used Amazon to purchase something a few years back. Has the format changed? It seems like an eBay type website now. I want to buy a cookbook but I feel like I need to check each sellers feedback. Do you have to use PayPal?

I'm not following. I thought buying from amazon is like buying from a regular store.
I didn't think you could buy from other sellers.

If you click on Selling Options it gives me a list of people selling the book.

You can buy from Amazon but many times you can buy a new or used item from other buyers for less.
You do not need a pay pal account. You can pay with a credit card

Ooooh... I've never seen that. I would probably just stick with buying directly from amazon and play it safe.

that is if you click "buy new and used" then it shows others that are selling the item you are looking for
if you want to just get it new from amazon, dont click that

I've actually SOLD a bunch on Amazon b/c things like books, people want cheap, so they can buy a book new for $9.99 with shipping or a used in good condition for $3.99 with shipping, so def. look at the other options.
