How early can you find out the babies sex?
I know its prob been asked before but I tried a search and its not working lol.
I was told by a friend you can find out as soon as 13 weeks? if you do a 3D sono?

The genitals are just developing around 13 wks and it can go either way. At that point male & female parts look the same.
You can always try and take one of those intelligender tests that they sell in drug stores.

if the baby cooperated, i would have found out at 16 wks, but she didn't so i found out at 18 wks!!

I just found out at 14 weeks. We got a really clear view of our  playing with ummm himself 
Im sure if we didnt see a little nub that they would have said wait til the 20 week to confirm "it" isnt hiding.

I would suggest to wait if you can-
A girl in my office was told at 14 weeks she was having a and the doctor claimed to be totally certain about that..
Well, at her 20 week level 2, it turned out to be a  , with a crystal clear vajajay shot and all.
My OB said there's a huge margin for error if you're trying to tell the sex early because everything is still so tiny and forming.
SO I know the wait is killing you (trust me, I was ready to blow a gasket!), it will be all worth it.

Our little man was not cooperating at my 16 week appointment, but I had my sister in law scan me (she's a sono tech) at 17 weeks and we saw the goods. My OB then confirmed it at 20 weeks.

Our anatomy scan is scheduled 18w3d. The OB said we'll definitely know by then.

My Drs office wouldnt tell me until my 20 week apt but I couldnt wait that long and decided to get a 4D sono at 16 weeks.

We found out at 15 weeks during an impact gender determination session- which by the way is cheap and u get great pics.
I know some people say it's not accurate then but I think it really depends on the machine.
The one at my OB was horrible- I could NEVER make anything out. The one at impact was amazing...
We did other 3ds and my son's face in the later ones looked EXACTLY like his face when he was born and the swelling went down.

With DS #1 I found out at 16 weeks.
With DS #2 I found out at 12 weeks 6 days at my ultrascreen.

I just had my 12w appt and our sono looked like it was a boy. However, the tech did say there was a chance it could be wrong (she gave us 40% chance it could be wrong). So we'll have to wait until our 20 w to know for sure!

My sono tech told me at 12 weeks they have a 50/50 chance of being right.
At 16 weeks as long as the legs are open they can almost positively identify.
At 20 weeks they can manipulate views and therefore have the best chance of getting an accurate sono showing sex.
