How early do you get to the airport for an international flight?
My travel agent said 3 hours. But i just called car services for quotes and one guy was like "why are you going so early?"
What do you guys usually do when travelling international?

I check in and pick my seats out online and get there about 90 minutes before.

I get there 2.5-3 hours early. I think you have to have your bags checked 60 mins of more before international flights. And depending on the time of day it can take a while to get thru security or curbside check in etc.
I would rather be early then late, stressed and running for my flight. Plus you never know when you will hit horrific traffic on the way to the airport that can get you to the terminal much later than you anticipated.

1.5-2 hours
international flights board 45 mins ahead of the departure time (they used to bard 1 hour ahead) so 2 hours is sufficient

About 3 hours. Sometimes it can take time to get through security. I get very anxious when traveling so I like to be there with time to spare. I hate that feeling of rushing to get there.

We always get there about 2.5 to 3 hours early. I stress majorily about being late when we fly, so this way I don't have to worry if there is a long line through security or check in. And we have time to eat in a restaurant in the airport before we leave.

about 1.5 - 2 hours/
the three hour thing is not necessary unless it's Christmas week or some other really high traffic time. you just sit there.... it's a waste of time

Just flew last week to St Kitts
Flight was at 10:55 am
Got to JFK a little before 8
Check in and security took no time, through by 8:15
Boarding was at 10:10
So 2 hours is plenty.

2 1/2 hours to 3 hours
once we get thru the security we walk around and get something to eat, something to drink....and Try and relax so we can sleep on the plane.
I had not been in JFK in a while. They now have a nail place and they give massages.
