I am in Sayville and my ped is in West Islip - about 20-30 minutes away. I would stick with him if he moved further. He's awesome and since you asked for reco in W. Suffolk I am happy to recommend them: George Pediatrics (Dr. George, Dr. VanCura and Dr.Bonafede). The number is 376-6000.

With or without traffic????  We're in Port Jeff, ped is in Northport. She was supposed to be temporary (as in just for the hospital) but we liked her so much we kept her.

I just started investigating Pediatricians and was just wondering how close your ped is to your home?
(also if anyone has a ped rec for western suffolk I'd appreciate it!)
I used North Shore Pediatrics - Mt Sinai Group - 631-367-5300 - we use Dr. Prushik. He's great.

Mine is 5 minutes away. When we picked DS's pediatrician, we didn't even realize how close it was...we just lucked out.

DC's ped was my ped, and also my Boy Scout leader. I would travel quite a ways to make sure we had him for DC.... 30-35 minutes seems like a bargain to me to drive to him....

15 minutes tops.
We use Suffolk Pediatrics, they are right across the st. from Good Sam. Dr's Woletsky, And Lambert and Zanolin.
They have excellent on call drs as well.

Under 10 minutes.
We are very happy with the practice but I don't know that I would travel up to 1/2 hour for them Some of you are crazy!
