How far in advance did you start planning your DC 1st Birthday?

I have to have it out bc our house is just way too small. I know this is waaay in advance but DD birthday is December 28, when do you think I need to start?

If you are going to have it at a "place," I would think the sooner the better. I tried to book DDs christening in October for December and literally had 2 out of 40 restaurants available to choose from. I don't see anything wrong with booking the place early. Then you can fill in the details later.

If it makes you feel any better, i'm already researching places to have DD's bday and it's not until 2/18 lol
I live in an Apt so I know definitely it will be out. I always plan way far in advance. Plus it helps me figure out how much I should save for.

Since the bday is in Dec I say you should start researching and book by the end of Aug/beg Sept.

But that's just me since i'm always so far ahead!

This is what happened with DD's christening. I had to plan it all in less than 3 months and i literally had ONE place to pick from!! It was communion season too so everything was soooo booked
