Married life is great, but I was single for a LOOOOONG time and it has taken some adjusting on my part....but I have to say I really do love being married through the good and the bad times. I know he is always there for me and that is the best part. AND he does my laundry...oh, wait that maybe the best part!

We were actually married 11 months prior to the BIG event and in that 11 months, we were doing just fine... a-ok... no issues... Then things got really rocky all bc my dumbass of a husband and details of his bach party that emerged...  Then we bought a house... Found that we were at each others throats while tryting to fix it up... Put a halt on the housework and we've been peachy ever since! Its truly amazing what certain stressors can do to a relationship

but seriously...his kids are so well behaved and we got our dog trained and ready to go....now i just wonder how he will handle a baby when it comes

we're in the process of buying a house now and we're so excited to build a home together :)
we talk about starting a family- but i love that its just us now and how great things are now, im hesitant to change that! lol

2 year anniversary is coming up, and I get the question "hows married life?" all the time!
Everythings going really great, were both happy, healthy, and spending more time working together then before.
This year we will be together 7 years and the time is just flying by!

Married life was GREAT until April 5th when my dogs woke me up to a house fire and saved my life. We got even closer for a while there but now DH is so stressed about the renovations, insurance, etc. that married life just plain IS. I've gained a lot of weight in a short period of time and I'm sure that's affecting him as well. No, I'm not preggers. Yet another reason for some stress, I'd imagine.

I was single for a LONG LONG time. (I was 35 when I got married) so there's a HUGE adjustment on my part since I'm used to having my way.
Married life is great though, we're renovating an apartment right now, so it's stressful... but I love having someone around all the time, it's so great to have someone to come home to... as corny as it sounds.

Now that all the wedding stress and planning is over, it feels great that we are now beginning our lives together. All the hopes and dreams we talked about while dating and engaged we are starting to make happen together.
Its great having a partner by my side throughout everything life has thrown us this year. We have had extreme ups and downs and its been rough on us and our relationship...we have definitely been tested. But after each obstacle we have come out stronger and closer. Its only been 10 months but I feel the crap that life dealt us these past 10 months has helped us establish a strong foundation so that we can continue building a strong marriage together.
One thing I remember everyday that my dad always told me was that a relationship is 50/50. No one person wears the "pants" in the relationship. Both husband and wife wear that same pair of pants together. The wife has one leg and the husband has the other.

i LOLed when i saw this thread b/c i never thought there could be a more annoying question after we were married... but alas, i found one! now that im preggo -- EVERYONE and their mother asks "so, how are you feeling?"  which dont get me wrong, is really nice of them... but i feel like most of the time people say it to start a conversation with me (ppl at work -- family and friends excluded) its annoying!!
anyways, our 2 year anniversary is approaching & a dog, a cat and a baby on the way -- we are going great!

i love it. it's great seeing him everyday. he is a huge help around the house. the only thing that has been difficult for me is sharing the tv. i'm so used to watching my shows.

I love it, especially living together now. However I do wish he would clean up his side of the bed more often and that does come up often. There's always bumps but it's expected.

Not as bad as I expected! DH and I had a very rough engagement, but we made it through, and adjusted pretty well to married life and living together. He still needs some training, but we subscribe to the "roomie" philosophy most of the time (we eat dinner together, then he goes to play on the computer/video games, I go to read, and we reconvene for a half hour or so of TV just before bed). For us, it works...we like spending more time together, but we also really like to unwind alone, and just being in the same household is comforting enough, that we don't need to spend every moment together just because we're married now.
