How long after a c section until you can lift your toddler?
Its killing me to not be able to lift up my 2 year old... I am 1 week pp.

i didnt have a choice.. i lifted my toddler while i was in the hospital for a few min.. once i got home he was lifted up as needed.
dont over do it...

I was so scared to lift him (he was also 35lbs at the time) so I really didn't for three weeks. He would climb up to me and sit on my lap on the couch

My DD was 26 lbs and my OB said 6 weeks no exceptions unless you want rupture problems. I think I waited at least 4 weeks but then only when there was no other choice.

Be careful!! i lifted DS at 1 week and had problems with my incision......my doc definitely thought it was from that.

I did it once at two weeks and started to ooze from my incision. I then waited until 5 weeks. Please be careful.
