How long did it take everyone to get back to pre-preg weight?
I gained 50 lbs with DD. Im 9 weeks pp and have only lost 30 lbs so far. I am not even close to pre-preg clothes with 20 more lbs to go. How long did it take to get back to pre-preg weight and what did you wear in the mean time. I do not want to buy any clothes at my weight now, i do not want any excuse to prolong keeping on the weight and as long as i have nothing to wear hopefully it will keep me motivated to lose it quicker.

By 8 weeks, I was below my pre-PG weight by a few pounds. My shape is definately different though. Not all of my pre-PG clothes fit me right. I am still working on that part.
ETA: I gained 30lbs and I have been breastfeeding which I've been told helps to drop the weight faster, although I haven't been able to eat salads or alot of veggies/fruit because I had to do an elimination diet to help my baby's tummy.

I am still trying too! I gave birth 2 months ago and I am on Weight Watchers. I lost 24lbs. so far and have 16 more to go until I am at my pre-preggo weight. I would like to loose a total of 30 lbs. on WW. Before I got my BFP, I was on program and 14lbs from goal 
eta: I am also Bf'ing and supplementing with formula. I am loosing an average of 1-2lbs. per week. IMO, that is a healthy weight loss for me and my doc agrees.

I gained 50lbs with pg too, so i know exactly how u feel! I still have about 15 lbs left, i am 2.5 month PP.
i broke down and bought some shirts and one pair of capri's from old navy. i was too small for my maternity clothes, but still too big for my pre pg clothes.
I have such a nice wardrobe pre pg, i refuse to spend more money on clothes i refuse to be in long term

I was lucky since i only gained 19 pounds and lost it all. But my body has changed. It is like the fat that I had shifted into a different area even though i lost all the weight. Its crazy!!

I lost all but 5 by 5 month pp - then evened out and when I stopped Bfing I GAINED 10!!!
I have since lost those 10, but those last 5 are a b itch!!!
My clothes aren't even close to fitting right - I'll need to lose 15 for that to happen I think!

You know, as much as I want to loose the weight immediately, I keep telling myself 9 months up and 9 months down. If it takes me less than 9 months, I will be very happy. I wear spanx pantyhouse when I have an event to attend and wear clothes that hide my post preggo azz, belly and hips. I try not to get too obsessed with it.
I was making myself nuts there for a while about the weight. At least I am being proactive and not sitting around feeling sorry for myself. I feel great when I workout, even if its 20 minutes of cardio (when I can squeeze it in) or a walk with my DD in the stroller. It is what it is and instead of wishing I had a bottle to rub with a genie in it, I am doing something about it. Each day no matter how small or trivial, if I make small choices to move and eat right I KNOW it will come off eventually.
When I was stressed about losing weight my DD felt it, she would be very fussy when I was stressed. Happy mama = happy baby.
Please choose to love your body no matter what the scale says and the weight will come off, trust me. Hang in there.

With Miranda, 6 months and I was 20 lbs less tha pre-pregnancy. With Melanie, I never had a chance, I got pregnant right after I had her.

I gained about 25 lbs and lost it all (but being sick and in the hospital for a week did help big time). I've since gained a few pounds back, but I am on a long road to losing the extra weight I've gained over the years. I would like to lose about 20 pounds. I hate being a size ??.

I gained 50 pounds total and it took 8 months for it all to come off. Now, a year later, I'm down 10 more pounds.

I gained 17 pounds and lost it in the operating room I am 7 weeks PP and lost 25 pounds. I feel the same way about it shifting. I am thinner now but for some reason my clothes don't fit the same way.
Now I want to get down to pre-wedding weight

I only gained 29 lbs to begin w/ so when I left the hospital, I was pretty close to my pre-preg weight. I am BF'ing as well, so that helps to drop weight, plus it's just been so damn hot i don't feel like eating!
my baby is 2 weeks today, my doctor told me to wait until the 3 week mark to start exercising. I just need to do some ab work, but i do notice i have a diff shape! lol my hips seem wider!
