how long did your pre-surgical testing for csection take?
silly question i know but i'm trying to figure out my ds's schedule too. also what did they do and do i need dh there? thanks!

What do they do at the pre-surgical testing for the c-section? My OB has not mentioned this yet.
They get a CDC and blood type to make sure you are ok for the surgery. Mine was about an hour as well

Mine took about an hour too. They took a urine sample, blood and blood pressure and gave you instructions on how to prepare for your c-section (i.e no eating and drinking, shaving, surgical soap, shaving) and call in to find out what time to report to the hospital. I think mine was within a week of my c-section.

mine was the day before, i was there for maybe 20 minutes. They drew some blood and took a urine sample.

Because I had a c-sec and never had pre-surgical testing.

My OB told me that they will take my blood at the test and that I am scheduled for 4 pm.

yes only scheduled c-sections. I did not have it for my first b/c the c-section wasn't scheduled but did with my second.

i had mine the day before, it took about an hour in total. it consisted of filling out pre-admission paperwork, an interview with the L&D nurse, a blood draw and a urine sample.
the most annoying part was walking around the hospital trying to find the lab  it's like no one had ever been there before, i couldn't get decent directions if my life depended on it

Sorry i cant help. I went to my pre surgical testing the day prior to my csection and it turned out i was in labor and went straight to L&D.
