DD is 3.5 and still in a crib. Don’t plan on switching her to a bed any time soon. She loves her crib and sleeps great in there. I don’t want to rock the boat.

DS moved from his crib to a twin bed the night before his 4th birthday. Never used a toddler bed.

My daughter was around 3 years, 4 months old. She said she was ready so we picked out bedding together. Then she decided she wasn't ready and then a month later, announced she was ready again and that was it.

around 3 we turned her crib into a toddler bed. Biggest mistake for us because it was then she learned she could get out of bed on her own. We converted back to a crib and she just climbed out every night. A few months after she turned 3 she got a regular bed.

We had to convert her crib to a toddler bed last night! She figured out she could climb out and wouldn't stop. It was the only solution we could figure to keep her safe. Basically at 9:00 p.m. DH was making the transition, took us until almost 12 to get her to sleep but once she was, she slept fine. Guess we'll see how it goes tonight. She'll be 2 in March. Man, I was hoping to actually be able to have some time to figure this one out, but oh well!

We went to a full size bed at 3.5 since he was getting a bit big for the crib...he never tried to climb out of his crib and also will not get out of his bed either...he screams for us when he gets up
