How long do you keep homemade baby food for?
I pureed some peas for DD on Friday and have some still leftover. When do I need to throw it out? Can I still freeze it? TIA

Re: How long do you keep homemade baby food for?
Wholesomebabyfood.com says this:
"We recommend transferring the food you have cooked to the fridge and then to package for freezer storage within 2-3 hours.
You may safely leave prepared foods in the fridge for up to 48 hours (72 MAX) so it is up to you whether you want to immediately move your foods to the freezer. "
So they'd be good until Monday before you should freeze them or toss them!

I try to freeze it immediately. However if I couldn't do this, I generally froze it within 3 days.

I have to be honest...I really don't understand the short shelf life.
It is peas...how could they really go bad in a short time?? I taste it before hand then give it to her.
I would definitely give her peas from Fri.
