How long have you been married?
How long have you been married or how long were you married when you decided it was time to TTC and any thoughts or input on what helped youmake your decision of when it was the right time?

For us our plan was to wait a few years (3 or 4) but we found out we were pregnant not even a week after the wedding and when we lost the baby we decided we are not going to wait so hopefully we will be pregnant again before our 1 year anniv. and I don't see anything wrong with that but it seems so many people do..."Its good to be married for a while and bla bla bla". I see why some people would do that but hello, isn't that what dating and engagement was all about? Maybe it's different nowadays when you live together and go on vacations before marriage  Just curious on your thoughts.

Good question! We figured we're able to afford children, we want children, we've got a house, and we've traveled a lot already, what's to wait for? I'm interested in everyone else's response too. BTW it's been about 5 months

We have been married for 8 months and 2 weeks. We lived together for 3 years prior to getting married so we decided to start trying right after we got married.
I stopped the birth control 1 month before the wedding.
We also have our own home, we are good financially, and just ready to expand

5 months - DH wants to wait until we're in a house - i'm not waiting  the clock is ticking LOUDLY
we're starting to house hunt now. If we were younger i'd wait a little bit because it is nice to have a little time for the 2 of you

My clock is TICKING!!!!!!
Plus, i feel that i am getting older.
Been married 7 months.

We were married 1 year in November... It's time, I'm pushing 36 and DH is 41 we started activelyl trying in October

We decided to TTC when we felt it was right fr both of us. We both had to be on the same page mentally, emotionally, financially and physically in shape. It was our decision and the best timing for us. We were married for 3 years (maybe less-however together for over 10yrs. at the time).
My DD came a few months after trying. Now we are trying for a sibling 3 years after her birth.
